God is doing some amazing things inside the hearts of the children, He is a father to the fatherless. One kid when I first met him he wouldn’t participate. If a kid was next to him he would pick a fight and try to punch or kick them. Whenever he was there you would know trying to teach or have conversation would be challenging because he would be so disruptive. The first sentence I remember him saying was “I don’t believe in God and don’t try to tell me He is real, and hell rocks.” then he sat back in his chair and folded his arms. The woman he said it to had the best response. She said ok I’m not but God will. After about a month and a half a kid who seemed to pay no attention to what we were talking about and being disruptive completely changed. He went from being violent toward others to being kind. He went from arguing/disruptive to telling other kids to be quiet and listen. From not participating in activities to wanting to talk to Jesus and to hear God speak to him. During one activity we had them ask Jesus how He is helping them and to write it down then to write down how they are helping Jesus. He said Jesus is helping me to be respectful, kind, and to not hurt others. On a prayer request a week later he asked God to give him a home, for God to help him be respectful, and at the bottom of the card he wrote I have one comment God Rocks! I know it was our prayers that broke through and God changed his heart. He isn’t at the facility anymore I think he has been placed in foster care. As I’m writing this I am asking God to bring someone in his life to continue to teach him to walk with the Lord Jesus, and please do the same. This kid is a leader and one day will be a mighty man of God.

Our fist child is turning 4. This is a big deal giving my calling started with her. It was Lauren that made me seek love and the lord on why he loved the children. She revealed my cold heart to me. I’m so glad she did and now she fills my heart with joy.

So a few months back she comes to me and Juanita asking to see the lords face and we tell her to ask Him and He may show her His face. The next morning she comes out of her room so sad and states Jesus did not show her his face. So we tell her to keep asking. So from then on every night she asks him when she closes her prayer, “Jesus show me your face”.

So just a few weeks ago she comes out of her room with a smile saying she saw Jesus and He was on a white horse and had a rainbow crown. So we asked her if He said anything to her and she said He said “don’t be afraid,” my wife’s reaction was great like for real you saw Jesus. Lauren was constant in her quest to see the lord she keep asking and he did just that showed himself to her.

Lets keep asking Him to show His face to the children so they too can see the white horse, rainbow crown and hear His voice saying do not be afraid,

Happy Birthday Lauren

We had family in town visiting this summer around the birth of Elijah, my wife’s mother was staying with us father’s day weekend, Then Elijah was born, My Father came after. Our summer has been nothing shy of eventful. Now as the season changes our season changes. As our family grows we learn more about family. There is something very important about the Family Unit and why God loves it so much. I have received revelation after revelation about Family.. Even though our family is young it has been through many seasons. We both have been in market place we both have taken time for ministry now for the first time we will be doing a season together were both jumping into ministry running at full speed and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in-store for our family.

The first steps to be taken is bringing our kids up in the house of prayer. Ill admit while they were smaller we stayed distant distraction but now at this speed were jumping in there starting with Malachi 46 Prayer Meetings. My wife will be taking the kids twice a week so they can get more involved with there own prayer life. She is also homeschooling and incorporating the bible and prayer in each lesson. The prayer room is our biggest key to success in this move.  My wife and I will be getting our own personal time in prayer. Ill be at the Justice Prayer Room on the weekends while I am still in the marketplace. Juanita will be truly serving our family in this time with Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday time serving in All Nations Prayer Room, Malachi 46, and CEC (Children Equipment Center). Just tonight we learned about Side Walk Sunday School its an outreach our church CEC does on Saturday morning. Its designed to get the kids in our area together teach about JESUS and have activities by their age group. My wife will be taking our three kids and praying about to what extent our involvement will be in helping this out reach.

Now you can see how fast were running please pray for us in this season that we hear the Lord and are obedient servants.

So we began Fathers day 2014. My wife was out with her mom shopping and I get a call that she thinks her water broke. I’m waiting for her to get home so I can “call the midwife”, Debbie Perry. When she walks through the door she is in tears what she thought was water was blood. So we call Debbie and she has her lay down for 30 minuts. When she gets up we check and there is still blood. Now we were getting in the car to go to the midwife’s house to check on Baby Boy (at the time we had not truly finalized his name) according to Juanita. We get there Juanita is in NO pain and the baby’s heart beat is just fine. At this time we head to the hospital praying the whole way for the life or our child. Arriving in Labor and Delivery and having the staff waiting was reassuring that GOD had us covered. After time and lots of test we still have no reason as to why she is bleeding. Early morning the doctor comes in to check with us, we never lost contact with our midwife she was with us on the phone the whole time guiding us though what was to come. He goes over the EKG with me and after a few scares of his heart rate with contraction we make the decision to have a c-section. I dress up in the outfit I thought I would never have to wear and head in to the OR with my wife. In no time at all we have a screaming little BOY. Wife looks over at me and says his name is Elijah Michael Miles, meaning MY GOD IS YAHWEH WHO IS LIKE MY GOD. At the same time we find out that she torn forty percent at his cord. In reality Juanita and Elijah should have not made it thought this ordeal, given he was not receiving blood from Juanita any more. She goes to recovery and I head to the room to meet our little miracle baby. He is beautiful and perfect. We are blessed. What was to come next we were not prepared for. We knew he would stay in NICU given he was born at 34 weeks. How long was in the air. Day two of his life he gets a blood transfusion. The hospital made a way for Juanita to stay with him his first week of life. I was back to work praying that soon he would be home with us. The girls could not wait to meet him (btw they were with my mom at the time). After being given several different time lines on when he would be home my wife decides to go and take over his care. In a long weekend she gets him nursing and keeping his temperature aka ready to come home. Then the news comes… he will be going home just before 4th of July weekend just in time to meet my Dad and step-mom who were coming in town. Our God is so faithful to us He heard every prayer and saw every tear and was there holding our hand the whole time. Meet Elijah
